The WaterRower S1 Rowing Machine With Computer is a design project instigated by WaterRower's Munich (Germany) Office. The frame is constructed from a brushed Stainless Steel. Like all WaterRower design projects, it is available in limited numbers as a special order.
The WaterRower S1 has been designed to set it apart from other fitness equipment, featuring an attention to detail unseen in other exercise equipment and has been engineered to a quality point not a price point. The WaterRower is styled to fit your environment, it is silent so it will not intrude on those sharing the environment, it is compact and simple to store so that it may be kept in any environment and it suits all who will use the environment. The WaterRower's patented WaterFlywheel has been designed to emulate the dynamics of a boat moving through water. WaterRower... naturally self paced Rowing, like other common aerobic exercises (such as swimming, running, cycling, skating, etc.) is not a resistance based exercise (see explanation). When rowing (or exercising aerobically) you simply exercise at your desired intensity and you and your equipment moves at a speed proportional to the work you are producing. Increase your intensity and you move faster, the limit to how fast you can go is you, your physiology, the amount of work you can produce. And this will be different for all of us.
